About us

What is your best? It’s different to mine, for sure. It will be different from day to day. It will even change during the day. Here’s the thing: we are always doing our best.  What happens then, if we aren’t getting the results we want or living the life we deserve?

What we believe

Everything we do is governed by what we believe. Our beliefs are the invisible guides always monitoring us, always on the look out for us. We can’t do anything that goes against what we believe.

Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.
–Henry Ford

If we want to do better than our best, we need to change our beliefs. But how? If you have ever tried to change what you think about something you will know it’s not that easy. Firstly because half the time we don’t even know what we believe. Secondly, if we did know how would we change it? It’s not like we can walk into the local store, buy a set of new beliefs, try them on and then purchase them if they’re a good fit.

Even the best need help

The New Zealand rugby team, the All Blacks, are the most dominant team in any sport. The reason for this dominance? Aside from the essential ingredients of physical fitness, conditioning and ball skills, New Zealand’s success is directly attributable to their mental skills coach, Gilbert Enoka. He’s the one on the outside looking in objectively, assisting the All Blacks to beat their best.

You can beat your best too

Whatever your best, Mind Muscle provides a variety of services and solutions, to help you beat it. Like Enoka and the All Blacks, Mind Muscle can be the equivalent of your mental skills coach. Whether you are an individual, athlete, parent, child, CEO, employee or company Mind Muscle and it’s associates can help you. We offer a variety of services and solutions, including:

  • belief changing workshops
  • coaching
  • community building programmes
  • one-on-one sessions
  • teaching
  • team-building sessions
  • workshops

All of which are designed to help you beat your best.

Mind Muscle

Mind Muscle is run by Matthew Green. Matthew has over twenty years’ experience in the field of human potential and behavioural change. He is a qualified EFT (also referred to as tapping) practitioner and therapist. Although EFT is typically used in a healing framework, Matthew sees huge potential in and has had great results using it to address limiting beliefs, enhancing performance and ensuring sustainable changes in behaviour.

Matthew owns 3 Words, a creative collective and is a regular speaker on beliefs and change-work. He facilitates workshops for both community run projects and corporations and in these workshops EFT is a key component in ensuring the desired outcomes are met.

Mind Muscle is associated with other leading change organisations. Mind Muscle’s primary association, however, is with the change organisation, CDC.
